Julie Peters Named 2020 Darien REALTOR® of the Year
The members of the Darien Board of REALTORS® have selected Julie Peters as the 2020 REALTOR® of the year. Julie’s passion for real estate, her deep commitment to it’s professionalism and her promotion of the Darien community are some of the reasons her peers chose her for this honor. The COVID pandemic brought a new level of concern to the process of buying and selling homes and Julie’s dedicated leadership as President of the Darien Board of Realtors® in 2019 and 2020 provided critical guidance on protocols to allow members to continue to serve their clients safely.

Julie is a regular on screen contributor to The American Dream TV show. It’s a nationally televised show where she features Connecticut, businesses, lifestyles and real estate in her monthly segment. It’s a way that she shares what she loves about Connecticut with others.
Julie is originally a native of Southern California but has lived in CT for the past 25 years. She and her husband, Chris (a Darien native), have raised their three boys who attended all levels of the Darien Public Schools. Her past involvement in community organizations include: OPUS for Person to Person, Darien High School Parents Association, Norwalk Grass Roots Tennis and First Congregational Church of Darien. She is a dog lover, avid tennis and platform tennis player.
