Julie Peters Named 2020 Darien REALTOR of the Year
The members of the Darien Board of REALTORS have selected Julie Peters as the 2020 REALTOR of the year. Julie’s passion for real estate, her deep commitment to it’s professionalism and her promotion of the Darien community are some of the reasons her peers chose her for this honor. For more than 15 years, Julie has been a member of the Darien Board of REALTORS , the Connecticut Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. She has served as a Director on the Darien Board of REALTORS and Multiple Listing Service from 2018-2020 and as the VP/President Elect in 2018 before her election to President in 2019 and 2020. She has also served on the Membership, Technology, Marketing and Finance Committees.
Her service to the profession extends to the state level where she has served as a Director for CT REALTORS as well as on the Risk Reduction and Nominating Committees. Julie entered the real estate industry as a licensed salesperson and as part of her dedication to the industry she recently obtained her broker’s license. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the industry and acting as a mentor to those new to the industry.
Julie is a regular on screen contributor to The American Dream TV show. It’s a nationally televised show where she features Connecticut, businesses, lifestyles and real estate in her monthly segment. It’s a way that she shares what she loves about Connecticut with others.
