2018 Realtor of the Year - Charlotte R. Felt
The Darien Board of REALTORS®, Inc. has unanimously awarded Charlotte R. Felt, Halstead CT, “2018 REALTOR OF THE YEAR”. A panel of Past President’s reviewed numerous submissions from members of the Darien Board and chose Charlotte based on her dedication, both past and present, to the Darien Board and the Community of Darien. Charlotte has been a beacon of professionalism and ethics that all REALTOR® members aspire to.
Charlotte has been a member of the Darien Board of REALTORS, the Connecticut REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS for over 42 consecutive years and has the distinguished designation of REALTOR® Emeritus Status for her 40+ years of consecutive membership with the National Association of REALTORs®. And for the past nine years has been the Executive Sales Director for Halstead Property in the Darien and Rowayton offices.
Among her many attributes, she has served in many roles, including President of the Darien Board of REALTORS® and Darien Multiple Listing Service, Inc. in 1992, 1993, 1997 and a Director of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® for 1997, 1998 and 2001. Charlotte was also the Chair of the MLS Committee for many years. To this day, Charlotte is a standing member and Co-Chair of the Grievance Committee, a member the New Member Education Committee and has served as a Judge of Election for the Board of REALTORS® for the past six years. A practicing REALTOR® in Connecticut for more than three decades, she remains a skilled and trusted real estate professional that is praised by her Clients and amongst her peers.
\Among Charlotte’s charitable efforts, she has been a direct liaison between the REALTOR® community and at Halstead CT with her volunteerism for Person to Person and Opus for twenty five years. For the past ten years she has coordinated a REALTOR® Toys for Tots annual holiday drive. Through her role at Halstead, Charlotte supports local softball teams, was the “Head Timer” at Wee Burn Swim Team and even a baseball coach for the Darien Little League.
Although born and raised in North and South Carolina, Charlotte considers Darien, Connecticut her home and is passionate about helping her clients make it theirs as well. She remains the highest representation of the practice of real estate and is trusted and admired by her peers, clients, the Community of Darien and friends alike.
