FACES: Katie Murphy

Meet Katie Murphy, a generous volunteer with the Darien Youth Commission. Katie joined the the Teen Options Program three years ago when her fourth child was entering the sixth grade, and has been a constant, steadying force with this group since then. The Teen Options Program, or TOPS, is sponsored by the Darien Youth Commission, endorsed by MMS and made possible through the generous involvement of the TOPS Board and many other volunteers.

TOPS is committed to offer affordable, safe, fun, drug and alcohol-free activities for Darien students in 6th, 7th or 8th Grades (both public and private school students). Katie Murphy’s efforts with the Darien Youth Commission allows for the great successes many of our kids enjoy. Thank you, Katie, for all that you do in our community!
