Dear Darien,

The Wreaths Across America ceremony is a national initiative that remembers veterans during the holidays. In December, Darien remembered veterans in its own ceremony of Wreaths Across America. There are 2,163 veteran graves at the town’s Spring Grove Cemetery and several hundred people showed up to participate. The ceremony included laying special wreaths for different branches of the military and service members. Then, attendees gathered wreaths to place on the graves. Our veterans will not be forgotten.

We thank and remember everyone who has served. We are especially grateful to those who are serving now and away from their families. We salute you.

With a family of their own, they understand that being a parent can be hard and cooking dinner every night can be a lot of work. Welcome to Hollow Tree Self Storage located at 131 Hollow Tree Ridge Road in Darien. HIGHLIGHTS

We can't wait to see what 2022 brings for Darien! One of the things we are excited for is the work happening at The Corbin District in downtown Darien. It will bring residential, retail, and recreation spaces to our community.

The residences will be designed to meet the needs of homeowners, with a focus on empty-nesters looking for apartment-style living without compromise.

The retail spaces will embrace the new streets which will be created around the project, and many of the stores will open onto the proposed Town Green.

The proposed public open spaces and Town Green will create an automobile-free zone, where children can safely play and enjoy downtown with their parents or friends.
